Caraway faced significant data challenges, grappling with a system where their primary business reporting relied on a Google sheet that required daily manual updates. This process not only introduced a notable margin for error, but also consumed a substantial amount of time for their internal team. It also hindered the accuracy and timeliness of insights.

Our original “dashboards” were in a Google Sheet that had to be updated daily. There was significant room for error and the daily updates/formatting changes were very time intensive.

Data Solutions With Daasity

Caraway partnered with Daasity to help them centralize their data, introduce real-time updates, and automate reporting processes. For the launch of their new bakeware line, Caraway collaborated with Daasity’s services team to engineer a dedicated dashboard that would allow them to access critical data of the launch in real time. The team was able to analyze customer behaviors, and in turn make updates to their ad strategies and guide customers towards more popular products. The team made the same data optimizations across their retention marketing efforts, highlighting products that were selling well to specific segments in tailored emails and SMS messages.

Caraway brought on Daasity in 2020, when companies were seeing rising COGs due to the pandemic. Faced with this,   Caraway aimed to adjust product prices to maintain profit margins. With confidence, they leveraged Daasity's robust product and website metrics dashboards to closely monitor individual product sales and conversion rates on product pages. This strategic approach allowed Caraway to implement a 12.5% price increase for one of their recently launched product, with no noticeable decline in order volume.

By centralizing their data and bringing on more robust analytics, Caraway was able to not only improve profit margins, and launch a new product line, but they gained numerous various insights into the success of their business and helped them achieve their ambitious growth goals.
